A painting made for your space begins with a conversation.
We begin with the room — its light, proportions, architectural rhythm, and the atmosphere you want to create. These become the starting point for a painting shaped specifically for its setting.
First, we look at the space
A photograph, a plan, or a conversation can reveal where the painting will live. I pay attention to what is already present — the quiet wall, the passage of light, the weight of the surrounding space — and to what the room is missing.
Then, we find its presence
Together, we consider the proportions the work should hold, its orientation, the palette that belongs in the room, and the visual weight it needs. Scale is more than a measurement: it is the distance a work needs to breathe, the axis it creates, and the way it meets the people who live with it. Colour and texture become part of the room's atmosphere, not decoration applied at the end.
The work stays in dialogue
I shape the work around the conversation between your space and my visual language. It should feel at home from the first glance, yet continue to reveal itself as the light changes.
What you can share
You can share dimensions, photographs, plans, a palette, or simply the feeling you are looking for: warmth, stillness, tension, depth. You do not need to have all the answers before the conversation begins.
